POLICE have charged a man who allegedly stole goods from a trailer in Thorneside on Sunday.
Police were called to Railway Parade about 1am after reports two men were seen carrying stolen goods.
One man was caught after a short foot pursuit.
A 34-year-old man was charged with trespassing and stealing.
He is due to face Cleveland Magistrates Court on May 19.

Alexandra Hills
* A brown Apollo Vigilante BMX bike was stolen from the bike racks at Alexandra Hills State High School, Windemere Road, between 8.30am and 3pm on Wednesday, April 30. The front tyre, which was chained to the bike rack, was removed so the rest of the bike could be taken. The front tyre of a second bike was also stolen.
* A rock was thrown through the window of a car parked in Maranta Street between 7.40pm on Friday, May 2, and 8am on Saturday, May 3.
Birkdale
* A shed at Birkdale Baptist Church on the corner of Old Cleveland Road East and Jones Road, was broken into between 1pm on Thursday, April 24, and 9am on Tuesday, April 29. Children’s bicycles were stolen.
* A green Ford XR6 (registration number 940 JMW) was stolen from the front yard of a house in Gardenia Street between 3am and 3.15am on Sunday, May 4.
* Letterboxes in Hague Road and Spoonbill Street were blown up between 9.30pm and 10pm on Saturday, May 3.
Capalaba
* A childcare centre in Degen Road was broken into between 7pm on Thursday, May 1, and 6.30am on Friday, May 2. Filing cabinets were rummaged through, but nothing was stolen.
Cleveland
* A house in Bay Street was broken into between 2pm and 2.30pm on Monday, May 5. A 51cm television, DVD player, Xbox console, Nintendo console, computer, computer games and accessories were stolen.
* A leaf blower was stolen from a carport in Waterloo Street between 2pm on Friday, May 2, and 8am on Tuesday, May 6.
* An Ericsson mobile phone was stolen from a white Toyota Hi-Lux utility parked at a shop on the corner of Bloomfield and South streets at 8.30am on Saturday, May 3.
Redland Bay
* A 1992 Toyota Lexus (registration number 345 GQA) was found burnt out at the intersection of German Church and Heinemann roads at 2.30am on Thursday, April 1. The car was stolen from James Street.
* A house in Robert Court was broken into at 1am on Friday, May 2. A mobile phone and a handbag were stolen.
* A hot water heater was stolen from a house in Mill Street between 11am on Wednesday, April 30, and 8.30am on Saturday, May 3.
* A 1000 litre hot water system was stolen from a house in Bay Street between 2pm on Wednesday, April 30, and 2pm on Friday, April 2.
Russell Island
* A wallet was taken from a phone box near the jetty in High Street between 10am and 3pm on Thursday, May 1.
Thorneside
* A house in Thorneside Road was broken into between noon and 12.15pm on Thursday, May 1. A black bag containing a cheque and papers was stolen. The bag was then dumped in the driveway.
* A stolen white Kia Carnival (Victorian registration number WFN 552) was found in the front yard of a house in Thorneside Road about 8.15am on Thursday, May 1.
Victoria Point
* A house in Fiddle wood Street was broken into between 4.30pm and 7.30pm on Monday, May 5. A plasma television and computer were stolen.
Wellington Point
* A house in King Island Drive was broken into between 9.30am and 3pm on Saturday, May 3. An LCD television, jewellery, iPods and digital camera were stolen. A silver Toyota Yaris (registration number 462 JXQ) was also stolen.
* A house in Owen Street was broken into between 7am and 10.30am on Friday, May 2. A LG DVD recorder, JVC digital video camera, computer, flat screen monitor, laptop computer and mobile phone were stolen.
