The Redlands on Moreton Bay Tourism Awards last week recognised the achievements of the local industry with awards to 12 tourism businesses in the Redlands and four Hall of Fame winners.

The Lighthouse, Cleveland Point, won the strongly contested Advertising Energy Gold Award for the highest award judging score. The award provides significant industry promotion benefits for the winner.

Sirromet Winery won two award categories and was inducted into the Hall of Fame at the gala dinner and award presentation, held in front of 120 guests at the Palms Auditorium of the Redlands Sporting Club, winner of the Club Award category.

Yarrandabbi Dreaming, which provides secluded beachfront accommodation on Macleay Island in an acre of organic orchard gardens, was recognised with the award for New Tourism Development.
